Cessford Construction Company, a proud family-owned business, began delivering top-notch service in Toledo, Iowa, in the 1950s. Our growth accelerated with the construction of the Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defense Highways in 1956, opening the door to new opportunities in the asphalt paving industry. To support local paving projects, we acquired the historic Le Grand Quarry, which continues to supply high-quality aggregates to this day.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach through strategic acquisitions, allowing us to serve more communities across Southeast Iowa and West Central Illinois with premium construction materials and services. In 2007, Cessford Construction Company became part of the CRH family, strengthening our ability to deliver excellence on every project.
